What You Need to Rent an RV

As with rental cars, you also have to be at least twenty-five years old to rent an RV. You also need a valid driver’s license. You also have to have a major credit card to put the rental on, so there’s no funny business with bringing the vehicle back or trashing the vehicle.
Whoever is going to rent the RV has to be there when they pick it up. If you think you’re going to be slick and have someone over 25 rent the RV remotely, but they aren’t going to go to pick it up, that’s not going to work.
The renter also has to make the payment, and the name must match the name on the ID.
Keep in mind that you can put other drivers on the RV, but they have to be present, and they have to show their own insurance.
