If you’re like me and you like to stay cool as much as possible, you might be asking, “Do RVs have air conditioners?”
Yes. RVs have air conditioners—in most cases.
RVs Without Air Conditioning
Pretty much the only RV I’ve ever seen that didn’t have air conditioning was a pop up camper. That doesn’t mean that every pop up camper doesn’t have AC. Most of the pop up campers I’ve seen do have them. There are some very small RVs you might find that don’t have air conditioners, but usually, RVs do have air conditioning.
RVs With Air Conditioning
We’ve had two pull-behind RVs and both of them had a single air conditioner. They weren’t big rigs so the AC did a pretty good job. Well, that is until we went to the Florida Keys in May. That was super hot and we could not cool our camper down no matter what we did. We baked.
If you get a larger RV, you might need two air conditioners or even three. I have multiple friends with large fifth wheels and motorhomes that have two or three air conditioners.
If air conditioning is important to you, make sure you check just to make sure but most of the time, air conditioning is a given.
