If you’re asking, “Do
No.
You’re trying to do the right thing by covering your RV. You want to keep it safe from water and sun or possibly critters that might try to get into it. If you don’t do some important things before you cover it though, you might find an unwanted surprise when you take the cover off. Read the following tips to keep your RV as safe as possible when using an RV cover.
Clean and Dry Your RV Before Covering
If you let dirt and water sit on your RV while the cover is on, you’ll likely take the cover off to find mold, mildew, rust, and who knows what else mess under there. Take the time to clean it and make sure all water is off it before you put the RV cover on.
Use a Quality RV Cover
Not all RV covers are created equally. Before you put anything on your RV, you need to make sure it is quality. Read reviews on any RV cover you consider. Just because something looks good, that doesn’t mean it’s a good fit for you. It doesn’t pay to cut corners when choosing the right RV cover.
Put the RV Cover On Correctly
Putting the RV cover on correctly is important. As much as my husband hates to read instructions, I am sure there are a few of you out there that want to shortcut the process. Just take five minutes to read the directions and put the RV cover on the right way so you can save yourself a lot of trouble.
