Yes. RV slide toppers are worth it. They protect the top of your RV slide out from tree branches, bird poop, and anything else that might try to land on top of your RV slide out.
What are RV Slide Toppers?
RV slide toppers go over your RV slide out to keep moisture and other debris off the top of your RV slide outs. Some RVs come with these accessories, but that’s usually the more expensive brands. Factories try to help people save money by leaving off anything extra on the lower price tag RVs. If you want them, you either need to ask to have them put on before you leave the lot, put them on yourself or take them somewhere to get them put on.
One time we forgot to get the debris off our slide, and it started trying to go through our seal and into our RV. So, if you don’t have slide toppers, make sure to always get the debris off the top of your RV slide out before you head out for a day of travel.
